The Community Integrated Disaster Response Exercise (CIDRE) allows disaster related first responders (i.e.: fire, law enforcement, EMS, health professionals, emergency management and public health), to successfully coordinate their activities with other jurisdictions and agencies. This multidisciplinary training event, which features 5 days of specialized training and a live 48 hour deployment exercise, simulates real-life conditions, allowing participants to practice skills within varied disaster settings.
This year’s event, which will involve almost 700 participants from various regions of the country, features specialized education in Command Operations, Community Resource Management, Emergency Operations Center Management, Law Enforcement (SWAT/EOD), Disaster Medicine and Urban Search and Rescue.
